Paul Doty

Grandson of founder George Budgen, Paul grew up in the nursery. Finishing high school in the early ‘70’s, he spent a few years performing with a traveling band. In 1983 he got his BS from UC Davis in Plant Science/Nursery Management, the same year that he began managing Berkeley Hort. Now, Paul is semi-retired, living in Nevada County, tending an edible garden, and playing bluegrass music as often as possible.
